Costumes for Bindi's class for the Croc Fest
There is a big performing arts festival in Tennant Creek in August. Bindi is preparing her girls to go to it, with a dance representing traditional life, including merrepen work.
Ev has been, while not hoeing into the garden and tending Banjo,
sewing dance costumes.
Ev herself learning to use the school overlocker - Ev may want to use yours,
Cat!
Here is work on all levels.
On 10 June, Sue (teacher of lower primary) and Sandra (Bindi's assistant teacher) and Sandra's daughter Elizabeth came round for a sewing marathon. Dennis cooked the lamb leg.

Next day, Banjo expressed approval of the lamb leg

Also on Wednesday 11th, the girls got to dress up and perform in costume for the first time, a bit shyly.

They'll get their confidence together - as happens when they let their hair down and find the beat of some rock music!
