Life in 2007
2007 is, in the Chinese calendar, the Year of the Pig...
or rather, as only every 60 years, the year of the Golden Pig.
Thus Ev, turning 60 in 2007,
is herself in the special class of people who are Golden Pigs.
For us it is also the Year of the Aging Poodle. At 16, Sam is the equivalent of 112 human years old.
Age rushed at him from late in 2006
and he has rapidly become blind and deaf
depending for security on smell and taste
and undiminished affection
for an often undeserving species.

We went with Sheoni and Chris and Sean and Brianna for a short holiday in the Otways and Sean fell in love with the camera and Grandpa gave it to him. Here are some of Sean's photos.
