I was woken by the sound of surf, 15km away,
on Sunday 29 May

So we went out to Booderee to see the sea.
Here is the lookout at the ruined lighthouse.

Here was the view north

... and to the south

Cat, of course, was also keen to photograph details

The area near the lighthouse was badly burned in fire in 2003

Whereas, to the north, the track to Stony Creek was untouched

There we were able to get close to the sea

Some sat, some fished in the creek mouth

Then we went back up the track to look at the scene at Moe's Rocks

and home again ...
